Hunters have struggled to find a technical hunting shirt for hot weather often relying on their base layer to fill this need; and most base layers are not optimized to be worn as outerwear because they lack the durability and UPF protection needed for early-season hunts. Sitka's approach was to create a lightweight yet durable technical hunting shirt, something that hadn't yet been offered to the big game hunter. We've leveraged Sitka's textile development and construction prowess to deliver evaporative cooling, UPF protection without chemical treatment and resistance to chafing from backpack straps.
